begging

she was trying
to pull them out of the matisse book
ever since i pointed them out
to her yesterday.

she just can't forget
about the violins.

and was getting so frustrated
they just won't come out of the book.

she never asks me
to buy her anything.
but she just keeps begging me
to buy her a violin.

how can i not, right?
her birthday is coming up. . .

Buy the child a violin! (she could be begging for Bratz dolls!) But along with music lessons I think all children should play a sport, too!

too bad you aren't closer, I have a beautiful 1/8 size violin (just her size) in a corner of my closet just BEGGING to be played, Maddy forsook the poor babies (the 1/8, 1/4, and 1/2sizes all spruced and ready)for a CLARINET (gadost!)this year. ah well, at least she's still on piano...

Addie plays the violin, and Naomi often picks it up and copies her. So I started showing her a thing or two. She can do it! Buy her the violin, and teach her how to hold it, and play a few songs, and see what happens. I'm sure she'll be amazing.

yeah, you so have to get her one. This is priceless and unique. not every girl her age begs for something so sophisticated. love it.
